Web 2.0 Tools for Schools Name of application and URL. What  “type” of project would it be best suited for (essay, class presentation, group work…)? This Web 2.0 tool would be suited for group work as it allows multiple users to collaborate on a single whiteboard. Due to the way this tool is structured, it seems as if this tool could be useful for a collaborated  art project. How do you use it?   The tool is used for simple drawings. You simply give the link to the room you're in to whoever you're working with and you can collaborate on a single online whiteboard.   Create a “sample” project. Maker ED: 3D Printing

Image
3D Printed Hidden Leaf Village Headband The base of the model is being constructed in this picture. A good base and a good foundation are necessary for a model to have good durability. Finishing touches of the model are being done. The top is smoothed out and the finer details are made. From learning about 3D printing to the actual execution, the experience was interesting and taught me a lot. I had initially failed my first 3D printing and ended the printing early. Some of the plastic didn't melt properly and had dragged along, creating an unstable base. The second time around, it worked better. I made sure everything was set up properly. The 3D printing process itself was quite interesting. I got to understand how the 3D printer worked and how the printer decides what to do. Overall, 3D printing was a lot of fun. It was intriguing to see something that was just a model on a computer screen actually get printed out in front of my eyes.
